Since the end of 1st lockdown, we have been seeing a steady increase in customer confidence, paused projects are now firmly back in full swing, and new projects are on the business improvement agendas.
The way a high percentage of people are now working has most definitely changed, with remote and flexible working arrangements being more noticeable whenever I am speaking with clients, partners or suppliers.
IT organizations not only have to support the specialist departments with digitization, but also have to put their own processes to the test and, if necessary, automate them in order to be able to react quickly to the requirements of internal customers, the market and changing collaboration models.
The next stage in life is the move back to what we used to know, and the levels of freedom and choice that we haven't enjoyed for what seems like an age.
Now that we know what the future holds (well for the next few weeks at least). I, for one, am looking forward to stepping into Level 2.
Today, in New Zealand we moved from Level 4 to Level 3. Here and around the world, it has undoubtedly been a challenging couple of weeks for most businesses.
